Chris, Operations ManagerDescribe your role as Operations Manager.
I am primarily responsible for Full Circle Farm produce post harvest and processing for distribution. When it enters the warehouse be it for Commercial Sales, Farmer's Markets, or our CSA I am tasked with ensuring it is stored, handled, and distributed properly. Additionally I feel responsible for the care and support of the staff that works for me and around me. I want my efforts to result in the best product for our customers and CSA members, as well as the best work environment we can provide for our employees.

What led you to Full Circle Farm and why?
Integrity of the brand, ownership, and diverse product offering. For four and a half years as the Operations Manager for a formerly locally owned home delivery service, I knew Full Circle Far as a customer and was always impressed with the exceptional quality of the products and dedication to customer service. When the opportunity presented itself to work for Andrew and Wendy, I couldn't have been more excited.

Describe some current values systems that are relevant to your work at Full Circle Farm.
I want my children to appreciate the choices I have made relative to where the money in our household comes from. I choose to work for a business like this because it is good work, creating real change in our world, and it sends me home each day feeling proud of what I have accomplished with the people around me.

What is the most meaningful part about working at Full Circle Farm?
Working with all of the incredibly diverse and dedicated people that create all that we offer. From the owners of the farm, to all the folks in the office, greenhouses, field, warehouse, packing shed, and CSA packers to the drivers you couldn't put together a more intentionally committed group of people. We do what we do, for a reason.

How has it changed your life?
I am reminded every day that you can never work too hard to produce good food for our community and ourselves.

What is your favorite meal and do you like to cook?
As a vegetarian working for this incredible organic produce farm with so many amazing things to bring home and put on the table it is hard to name one favorite meal. I am spoiled. I have however developed quite an incredible appreciation for the uncooked vegetable. Right now nothing tastes better to me than a handful of Full Circle Farm green beans fresh from the field delivered to the barn for breakfast.

When you're not working, how do you like to spend your time?
Searching for wonders in the simplest things, in my yard with my two young boys, and getting lost in the mystery and science of my 200 gallon marine reef aquarium. Aquaculture corals are cool... we may just save the reefs one aquarium at a time.

Music you like to listen to or best book you've read so far this year?
I like a wide variety of music with a great appreciation for The Smiths, Van Morrison, and in the last few years the children's music of Dan Zane's.
