What led you to Full Circle Farm and why?
I have a degree in Culinary Arts so food has always been one of my favorite subjects. I worked as a bookkeeper for a small flower shop after college, so when I found out about the position, it seemed like a great fit!

Describe some current values/belief systems that are relevant to your work at Full Circle Farm.
I have a number of food allergies which prevent me from eating many processed foods. I've always been very aware of the additives & preservatives going into our food so I'm a huge supporter of locally grown, organic, "whole" foods. If you make something from scratch, you know exactly what's going into it! It's so important to support our local economies and that especially includes local agriculture. I really try to do my part by purchasing locally produced products.

What is the most meaningful and/or best part about working at Full Circle Farm?
I think the best part about working here is seeing a farm in action. I've learned a lot about the process of getting the veggies from field to table. It's given me a new appreciation for what's in my CSA box every week.

What is your favorite meal and do you like to cook?
I love to cook! My husband and I cook together most nights after work. Baking is my favorite, and I especially love baking pies.

When you're not working, how do you like to spend your time?
I spend lots of time with my husband and our animals - our dog, Zoe, and our cat, Rocky. I also love knitting, spinning yarn, antique shopping, and lounging around our house watching movies.

What is the best book you've read so far this year?
I just finished reading Atonement. Great book.
